Film sticks to its story and has a very clear message.
" revenge cannot be contained by revenge"
Which is true in both the cases of the film and also for Kashmir.
Yes There are major problems in Kashmir
India & Pakistan claiming it to be their territory fighting like elephants has surely ruined all the green grass( peace and harmony)
People are both good and bad in Kashmir. Millitary has always played its role in all the conditions some time in condition of necessity and sometime being harsh really harsh in presence of necessity. But in any case situations will be worsen if it wasn't there.India won't leave Kashmir for it to be a slave and winning trophy harshly misused by Pakistan. People there will be kept playing and being played ,some as militants some as bearers some as Indians some as Pakistanis and some as representatives of free Kashmir.
But the day the people there decides that they are a part of India and like a good son their good or bad lies in India , until then the problem will remain intact.
How harsh and meaningless and cruel the conditions maybe but a child must remain with their parents and cannot choose new parents in any case. No matter to what extent a child can be mislead or used for advantage by others. Parents knows what's good for their child.

Movies has much to say about son who loved his father.A mother who has her life of love and her needs and wants but one who loved her child immensely.
So Go watch it now.
One more thing. A question arises what if the child is grown up now and asks for independance.
